Kamari Beach the famous black sandy beach is
30 meters from Aegean Plaza Hotel with 2
kilometers of black sandy beach, bars,
coffee shops, traditional taverns and
restaurants, discos and shops for all tastes
and budgets.
It's
one of the few areas in Santorini Island you
can have water sport activities.
Not far
from the village is the archaeological site
on Ancient Thera. Also in Kamari is the
church of Panagia Episkopi, which was built
in 1100 and the famous towns and villages of
Santorini. Fira, the capital, is 7 klm, IA
traditional Village is 12 klm, Acrotiri
where the archaelogical ancient town is 10
klm and museums are in Fira.
Santorini is an unusual island with intense
character and unique fascination. The
wildness of the landscape, the breathtaking
view, the multi-colored beaches formed by
the volcano's lava and the deep blue Aegean
Sea combine a picture of wild, proud and
imposing beauty.
The
whole island is one hugh pile of volcanic
lava. Red, black and brown are the colors
